Rotem Sapir, an aerialist who specializes in silks,rope, doubles’ choreography and dynamic work, has been teaching and performing for over eight years. Begin your rolling journey (also known as C-shaping), master dynamic transitions, and try some doubles work. A top aerial teacher, Rotem has a strong background in theater, circus performances, and choreography..
The retreat will focus on technique in the mornings (c-shaping or horizontal rolling and dynamic) and performance work in the afternoons (sequencing and choreography). Plus you’ll eat delicious food and enjoy down time in the salt jacuzzi with a sea view! Don’t miss your chance to learn from Rotem and rejuvenate in Portugal!
Get Ready to...
challenge yourself with new material and push yourself in a final showcase. We will help you build a performance piece to present -- learn how to choose the right music, adapt the choreography, and create the ‘character’ with visuals, props, make-up and costumes.

Pose with your best point forward in the beautiful semi-open studio for a professional photographer! You’ll receive a set of beautiful insta-worthy stills for your portfolio.

All levels are welcome, but beginners should have some basic knowledge of aerial silks: a few climbs, hip key, catchers, foot locks, and be able to freely hang and invert in the air.
