Your Instructors:
Anna Mitova Klisarova
Anna's passion for aerial acrobatics was ignited in 2012 during her first encounter with aerial tissue in Brazil. This experience marked the beginning of a love affair with the art form. For five years, she harbored the dream of integrating aerial arts into her life, a dream that became a reality in 2017 with her discovery of Pole Dance Bulgaria's studios. Currently, Anna is deepening her understanding of the mind-body connection by studying to become a body psychotherapist at the Bulgarian Institute for Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapy. Her interest lies in exploring movement as a medium to express inner truths and the intricate relationship between mental and physical well-being. Through aerial arts, Anna blends the emotional and physical realms, employing it as a tool for 'awareness through movement.' She aims to inspire others to find their own freedom and authenticity in the air.
Renata Klisarova
While Reneta's professional background in nutrition is still in its early stages, her journey towards a healthy lifestyle began four years ago. This shift was triggered by a diagnosis of gestational diabetes during pregnancy, a condition she didn't fully comprehend at the time. Post-delivery, she noticed significant changes in her body and was determined to avoid the path of diabetes, a condition that affected her grandmothers. In pursuit of health, she initially fell into the cycle of strict dieting and excessive training, finding herself navigating through a confusing mix of factual information and marketing gimmicks. This experience of highs and lows with her own body led to a pivotal decision: to truly understand how her body functions. This realization propelled her into the world of nutrition, and over the past two years, she has completed three nutrition courses and delved into numerous books on the subject. These educational experiences have profoundly reshaped her understanding of health and nutrition. She has learned that while food is crucial, strict dieting is not the answer. Proper nutrition has taught her the importance of balancing all nutrients and prioritizing overall health. Armed with this knowledge and personal experience, she is now passionate about guiding others who may feel lost in their health journey, offering support and insight from her own path to wellness.
How to Get Here
The studio is located 1km from Lagos. You have international flights into Lisbon and Faro. Depending on your departure city, they are more or less expensive. Generally, within Europe, flights to Faro are cheaper and from the United States Lisbon is cheaper. However, in 2024, there will be a direct flight from NYC to Faro so this will be a great option if you’re coming from that side of the pond.
From Faro: you can either take a shuttle, a bus or a private taxi/uber to the studio. Generally the price is about 85 euros for private taxi and shuttles are around 12 euros. It’s a 45 minute drive. We can help you arrange group transport if you’re arriving at or around the same time.
From Lisbon: Bus is the best option. It’s about 15 euros and takes 3.5-4 hours to get to the Lagos bus station. From there it’s a 5 minute/5 euro uber to the studio. There are also trains but they take longer and you need to change trains at a station not far from Lagos. We can arrange group pick-ups and help you with transport if you’re arriving around the same time. There are private taxi options for up to 8 people at a time for around 300 euros.
